Nestled here comfortably between May Day and Mother’s Day. Breast pumping while paid labor (oof that honorable title has a denigrated stink about it) keeps the farm running outside. Asa’s first day of daycare.

Been listening to Carole King’s ‘Rhymes & Reasons’ on repeat since January or so.
Take care of little jealousies
And talk that kills for fun
And hold your heart in readiness
It's so easy to come undone

Brighter than all the others
And it says all men are brothers under the skin

Do you know that SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice) exists?
SURJ is a national network of groups and individuals organizing White people for racial justice. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ moves White people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion and accountability. We work to connect people across the country while supporting and collaborating with local and national racial justice organizing efforts. SURJ provides a space to build relationships, skills and political analysis to act for change.

I LOVE talking about justice, consciousness, identity, race... and I strive constantly to maintain a safe space emotionally, physically, psychically... to explore and grow. If you want to discuss anything with me, or fumble through your first verbalization of something, or share the deep wisdom you've been developing for 40 years, please do so!
